Raymond Meyer is one of the country’s leading experts in industrial surface treatment.
With over 35 years of experience, he has long been a driving force in the industry’s development, and is one of the founders of both the consulting firm Meyer & Hjort AB and the custom surface treatment company Laray AB.
He has also led the Nordics’ only powder coating training program for 30 years, formerly known as Powder Coating Academy, which is now part of an exciting collaboration with HangOn!

Powder Application Techniques
– Basic
Learn the fundamentals of efficient, durable, and cost-conscious powder coating.
After completing the course, you will know how to develop and document application solutions using RAP and multi-step methods, as well as how to optimize existing processes. You will also gain practical knowledge of corona and tribo charging, and how to measure application efficiency and powder consumption.
Target Group: Supervisors, operators, future operators, and process technicians.
Format: Hands-on training in HangOn’s training lab, using equipment from all major suppliers. No prior knowledge is required.

Powder Application Techniques
– Advanced
For those who have completed our (or PCA’s) Basics course and want to deepen and refine their application skills.
This advanced course builds on the fundamentals from the Basics course. You will work with advanced application techniques, calculate economic impacts, and learn to make better decisions for more efficient production. The course also includes in-depth training on powder coatings, thermoplastics, and ways to reduce environmental impact.
Participants are welcome to bring their own objects to the exercises, allowing them to immediately apply what they’ve learned to improvements in their own operations.
Target Group: Participants who have completed Powder Application Techniques – Basics.
